In 2022, ASID NY Metro partnered with the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley to embark on a transformative project: the revitalization of 12 guest bedrooms and common areas. Byrnes Design Studio collaborated with Bjorn Bjornsson Design to reimagine a guest bedroom that would offer much-needed comfort to families of children battling pediatric cancer . The design embraced a neutral palette with thoughtful accents of blue, a color intentionally chosen for its association with calmness, peace, and serenity, as supported by color psychology. This guest bedroom was designed to provide a soothing and restorative retreat for the guests.
